You’d be an April Fool to Resist this Month at the Fox!

Hyndland Fox

Our new menu is absolutely delicious and we’re totally delighted to say it has been going down a treat! Everyone loves the tapas style small plates, great for sharing or pairing with drinks. Heartier plates such as the Manchego stuffed chicken and the IPA battered fish and chips are also firm favourites too. Staff favourites so far are the fresh juices and new salads, we have a big selection and we’re always trying our best to be healthy. We’re also partial to the new mac n cheese with N’Duja sausage for when we need something a little more comforting!

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE NEW DRINKS MENU and it’s not just gin!

Yep, you’ve guessed it, we have a brand spanking drinks menu. We’ve shaken things up and added new spirits to the selection of lip-smacking tipples. This means more sassy spirits for you to sip over big chunks of ice in a balloon style copa as you know and love. Unleash your inner pirate with a Ron Zacapa 20 Year Old rum, with London Essence ginger ale or how about a Copper Dog whisky? Throw in a wedge of fresh lime for good measure. If you’re a fan of the grape, you’ll be happy to hear we have tasty new wines which go perfectly with our dishes, so ask your server for a recommendation and we can even give you a little taste.

We can hardly believe it’s Easter again! This year it falls on the 16th of April. Here’s to daffodils, chocolate eggs and all the joys of spring. As usual, we’ll be cooking a good old fashioned Sunday roast, with plenty of trimmings. Even better, we will be giving you the chance to win a meal for four on Easter Sunday. It’s a competition which we will shortly announce over on Facebook. Keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Oh yes, we are excited to say that Meet The Makers is back and it’s a fabulous one to kick off the tradition. Moet et Chandon will be at The Fox to let you try a fine selection of Moet Champagne. We’ll throw in a few pairing plates to go along with it too. If you joined us at the last one, you’ll know that plenty of Champagne was quaffed that evening, so it’s set to be a great night, and of course, it’s on us. Cheers!
